Oh, we have a Beer Festival running throughout the ten day period too - happy days! See you at the bar! Our 15th Beer festival is fast approaching over Easter Weekend (19th March to the 2nd April) and we've got some news for you regarding live music and which beers are going to on the rack this time round!
LIVE MUSIC FROM 7.30PM EACH EVENING Thursday 29th - Acoustic Driftwood Friday 30th - Howard Perret with support from Matt Shipley Saturday 31st - Late to the Party Sunday 1st - Jam Night View our extensive beer list for the Easter weekend by clicking below. We've got a cracking selection on, including; Plum Porter from Titanic, Eclipse by Tollgate, Temptation from North Yorkshire and many more! 10 barrels will be on the rack at any one time and 5 will be on the bar pumps. When one runs out - and they do go pretty quick, we'll pop another one on! Beers, as always are subject to change due to supplier demand etc, but the list below should be pretty close to what's going on! See you at the pub! It's always sad to see Christmas finish up for another year and with Spring a good stretch away, there's not much to look forward to, is there? Of course there is! Aside from lots of events coming up, like Valentine's Day (don't forget chaps!) and the Stumps playing tomorrow evening followed by a Jam Night, we have a huge variety of Real Ales for you to try this month. From breweries such as; Tollgate, Three Castles, Hammerpot, FFF, Adnams and Ascot Ales (among many others) featuring Pale's, Dark's, Brown's and Blonde's and Ruby's, there are literally tonnes to choose from. On Saturday 29th we're having a Darts Night! Fun games await any and all abilities - it's always a fantastic night with lots of laughs. We'll be at the oche at around 8pm, but if you're running late, don't worry - you can join in on the next game! On Sunday 30th we are having a Jam Night! This is being held by Matt Shipley for the last time as he and the family (Sadie Shipley and kids) are having to move. Sad times... So no excuses on this one, hopefully a lot of you can make it (both musicians and fans) and give Matt a good send off! |
