Our first beer festival since October 2019!

After all of life's interruptions, we are delighted to be back for a beer festival, it has been wayyyy too long.
In terms of a beer list, this won't be released until just before the start of the fest as it's an ever-changing thing but we'll make sure it's nice and varied and featuring some top-notch breweries.
Live Music
Thursday Evening
- Paul & Sarah Marsh (aka Undertow) will be performing a set of modern and classic covers. Always a delight!
Friday Evening
- Brute Choir (Acoustic), expect a wide selection of covers from a trimmed down version of the full band. An Alfred beer festival debut. Cannot wait!
Saturday Evening
- Late To The Party Not sure if these guys need an intro! Full band and lots of classic rock covers, always a raucous evening!
Sunday Evening
- Cullan Flanagan will be playing the blues and classic covers - not to be missed! Joining Cullan will be John Humphries playing originals and covers in only a way John can - quirky and lively!
Bookings and Other Info
Lots of you will be familiar with the format of our festivals, however, we do have lots of new faces coming in so I'll go through it again...
The event is ticket-less and free to enter. The pub is still just open as the pub but kind of on steroids - extending opening hours, music and loadsssss more beer.
For table bookings, we will only accept them for those eating and we won't be taking food bookings in the bar area as all the beer is in there and space will be limited. It is recommended to book in advance for the night of your choosing (probably depending on which music you would prefer).
For those just rocking up for some beers (and maybe food without a booking) - hopefully, the weather holds and the courtyard can be used, but also the marquee will be set up and ready to go, as well as just general standing / bar space).

Thursday 14th April:
13:00 - 23:00 (food til 21:00)
Friday 15th + Sat 16th April:
12:00 - 23:00 (roasts til 16:00) - No food Sunday eve
Sunday 17th April:
14:00 - 21:00 (BBQ til 17:00 weather dependent)
Monday 18th April:
As Monday is also a Bank Holiday, we will be open and having a BBQ (weather dependant) - a more informal food offering as by then the kitchen team will need a break!
